Mona Benrashid, PharmD, BCOP received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in 2010. After graduating, she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC and a PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. After completing her residencies, she practiced as a hematology/oncology clinical pharmacist in North Carolina. In 2015, Mona returned to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she practiced as a clinical pharmacist, establishing services in the breast medical oncology clinic in 2016. Following her return to Nashville, Mona was inspired to create the Tennessee Oncology Pharmacists Association. Mona now works at AstraZeneca as a Medical Science Liaison, supporting research and education activities for breast and gynecologic malignancies in the deep South region and Tennessee. In her spare time Mona enjoys the variety of live music offerings in Nashville and spending time with her Goldendoodle, Lolly.
